Five (5) races count towards a runner’s total points.
Three (3) races are needed to qualify, including at least one of the five HDSRL Evening League races. The best 5 points scores count towards each runner’s overall points total.
Each runner can include a wildcard entry – any officially timed race or parkrun – where the runner’s time is compared to the gender winner’s time for that event. Runners who submit a wild card almost always score their highest individual race score by doing so.
Runners receive 15 points for volunteering at one of our three official races, up to 30 points. These races are: Ripon 10 on 10-May-26, Round Ripon Ultra on 3-Oct-26 and the Jolly Holly Jog on 28-Dec-26.
Runners will be placed in rank order of points for their age category.
See: Link to the results, where you can download PDFs of the various categories.
Please wear your club vest or T-shirt when competing, wherever possible. You should always enter as a Ripon Runner to ensure your finish time gets captured and entered into the results system.
On completion of a race, can you please, if possible, submit a Strava link or Garmin link, and the following information:
- The date of the race
- The winner’s official finish time for your gender
- Your time (elapsed time, including walks, rests etc). Make sure you disable ‘auto-pause’ if using a GPS-timing watch
I’d prefer your submissions via the Ripon Runners Club Championships Facebook group; access to that group is available by request to Karen Lennox or Phil Chatterton.
For a race with a number of Ripon Runners entries, you can also submit a table of race results from the official organiser’s website, for example RaceBest, which can be sorted for Ripon Runners entries.
Happy running, and may the best runners win!
