Yorkshire 3 Peaks Ultra - 17 Oct

Report by Colm O’Cofaigh

I completed the ‘Yorkshire 3 Peaks Ultra’ at the weekend. A low key, well organised event by Ranger Ultras. The route starts in Hawes and follows the Cam Road before climbing over the Yorkshire three peaks of Whernside, Ingleborough and Pen-y-Ghent, and then returning to Hawes along the Cam Road again. Total distance 70km. A really good race. The day started off misty but it then cleared in the afternoon to give fine views of the hills and surrounding countryside. I finished in 10 hours 55 minutes.

Editors note

Colm fails to mention that his 2020 time was 25 minutes faster than 2019 – well done Colm!
