Whixley 10k
At the risk of repetition, a windy & muddy Whixley 10k tested more members, with Mark Ryder putting in a great run for 8th overall in 39 minutes 24 seconds. Next was Ray Johnstone in 43rd place in 47:09. Only a minute was between each of the next three; Steve Grange continuing his great first year of running with a 52:57 finish, Stephen Parkinson next in 53:13 and first Ripon female Beth Constantine (2nd in her age category) 54.58. Four more ladies finished; Fiona Alder (57:17), Helen Cox (PB 57.45), Jessica Craven (PB 61.55) and Christine cooper (77:15).
