Wharfedale Trail Half Marathon - 10 July

Saturday the 10th of July was the Wharfedale Trail Half Marathon. This is a great 13.4 mile race around Wharfedale starting and finishing in Threshfield. It is very scenic and includes a two mile climb up Mastiles Lane. I was the only Ripon Runner participating this year. The day was overcast but rather muggy. This year it was a staggered start with groups of runners setting off in 5 minute intervals which worked well. I finished in 2.03.28 which was a PB for me in this race. I really enjoyed it and will be back again.
