Wharfedale 3 Peaks
A lovely sunny day gave great views of the Yorkshire Dales as runners and walkers travelled to Kettlewell for the Wharfedale 3 Peaks Challenge. The 22 mile long course took in Birk Fell, Buckden Pike and Great Whernside before a steep ascent back to Kettlewell.
Paul Walker returned first for Ripon in 4 hours 15 minutes, with Matthew Holt a further 15 minutes behind in 4:30. Paul Morgan, Ray Raper and Iain Wallace finished in around the 5 hours mark, with Jackie Scott walking the course with son Oliver in a time of 8 hours 45 minutes.
