Wetherby 10k
In nearby Wetherby, another 13 Ripon runners tackled the 10k. Reece Dalton lead home the Ripon contingent, in this ultra competitive event, which always draws the best local talent. Reece finished 5th overall in 34:07, with Simon Cave having a great summer season following in 37:25 and Jo Lofthouse 3rd Ripon runner in 38:11. In the ladies, Caroline Bollen finished in a great time of 40 mins and 8 secs, Chloe Dalton was next in 47:42, with Beth Constantine, knocking 6 minutes off her previous years effort in 56:50. Her mum Helen Kristine, was 4th RR back in a 10k PB of 58:25! Other times were James Boddy 38:29, Douglas Scott 38:46, John Chatwin 39:23, Trevor Schofield 40:07, Andy Matheson (in his first race in nearly 3 years) 56:09, and Tammy Kirkwood 1:14:00.
