Wensleydale Wedge
A large number of Ripon Runners travelled to Askrigg in the Yorkshire Dales on Sunday for the popular LDWA Wensleydale Wedge. Paul Walker continued his great form, by claiming second place among a high class field of entrants, following his win at the Kilburn Kanter two weeks ago. Paul completed the 2500 foot ascent / 24 mile long course in 3 hours 55 minutes, followed by David Binks (4.07) in 8th place and Dave Jelley in 12th position. Anneke Imeson followed up last years first lady spot with another great performance, this time finishing joint third female, with Amanda Seims from Valley Striders, in 4 hours 30 minutes.
