Welcome Ultra
The Punk Panther Ultra marathon organisers had a re-run of the Welcome Ultra race originally held in March this year, due to many runners missing the event due to snow. Conditions this time were very different with sunny and warm conditions rather than knee deep snow drifts. Claire Baker won her second race in the space of few weeks by completing the longest of the routes on offer, a 39 mile long race with 4915 of elevation in a time of 7 hours 27 minutes. Claire was also third overall.
