Thirsk 10
At the Thirsk 10 on Sunday 20 March, young Ben Pease once again put in an excellent performance on the flat road course by claiming 27th position (out of 877 finishers) in a top quality field of entrants. Ben smashed the one hour barrier in 57 minutes 28 seconds, with Spike Ambery Smith next for Ripon just 3 seconds over the hour mark. Only 8 seconds separated John Chatwin who was next in 69:41 just ahead of Dewi Winkle in 69:49. Nicole Sutton was first Ripon lady in a PB time of 76:52.
