Swaledale Marathon
A number of members once again travelled to Reeth for the scenic and challenging 23 mile long Swaledale Marathon. The route has many steep inclines, with runners treated to the first one within a few hundreds of starting. Steve Silver was back in a time of 4 hours 29 minutes while Fred Clapham was two places behind him in 4 hours 30 mins. Tim Joynson also finished in 5:12, along with Chris I’Anson in 5:35, Chris Bennett and Robin Kehoe walked the course in 8 hours 35 mins.
