Staveley Stampede 10k

It was a lovely morning out at Staveley with 30 RRs in their claret vests. The weather was slightly cooler than last year and the sun stayed well hidden for an hour or so giving lots of us a good run. The course is mainly flat, on tarmac, gravel paths, grass and through the nature reserve. A small incline at 4-5 miles where we were kindly met at the top by the lovely Phil Chatterton taking pictures of us all with our best smiles before proceeding on to a lovely down hill finish. As you can see from the results there was plenty of fantastic running and achievements from our runners today.
1st Male home for Ripon was Dougie Scott and 1st female for Ripon was Jill Hoult both taking course PB’s with them. Many thanks and well done to Alex, Andrea and Wendy who stayed with Laura until paramedics arrived after Injury to her foot at mile 2 fantastic team support.
Unfortunately, the official results were not as well presented as our running and contain a few errors. I have manually gone through them all to the best of my ability but I can only apologise if anyone is missing.
Please check your results on the official page and email them direct as a few of you do not have RR’s against your name or it’s another club name, this may affect your club champs for your points to be retrieved
