Stanbury Splash
Due to snow and ice the annual wooden tops Stanbury Splash was run instead over the Stoop course, but still contained 5 miles and 850 feet of ascent on the moors above Haworth. This race had a great turnout despite the icy conditions, and despite this and the peat bogs Sally Houghton still managed a great time of 43 minutes 14 seconds for 7th lady. Dave Ritson was again in great form for a 47:26 time and Martin Gabriel rounded off the trio in 47:55.
