Smuggler's Trod
On Saturday Kim Holden and Tim Joynson took part in the 30th running of the LDWA Smugglers Trod. The scenic 25.4 mile route, with 3,200 feet of elevation gain, starts and finishes at Fylingthorpe with the final challenge being the climb up the hill from the seafront at Robin Hood’s Bay to the village hall.
The weather was good and despite enjoying an extra 0.2 miles due to a missed turn early on, they finished the course in 5 hrs 53 mins.
