Sally Wins At Burnsall
Burnsall hosted the latest BOFRA fell race, this time a course 1.5 miles long with 800 ft of ascent. The climb up was across rough fields and narrow heather paths but then a fast down hill section on a steep rocky fell side. Runners could pick their own route down but with rocks covered by the heather it was not the easiest of descents! A wonderful setting on a lovely sunny day made a great day for fell running and Sally Houghton was 4th lady overall and 1st V50.
