Sally & Gary Compete At Wasdale
The Wasdale show hosted the final race in the BOFRA series on a gloriously sunny on Sunday.
Sally Houghton and Gary Bastow set off with 64 other runners to take on Kirk Fell at the head of Wasdale, with 2,400 feet of ascent in just over 2 miles on mainly loose scree. The ascent was equally difficult but Gary finished in 53 minutes 24 seconds and 23rd overall, while Sally finished 5th lady and 29th overall in a time of 53 minutes 28 seconds.
