Round Sheffield Trail Race
Andy Purll and Stan Appleton ran a trail race with a difference on Sunday through Sheffield’s woods and parks. An 11 stage 20km long event, with short recovery sections at each stage so as to cross main roads, with stages varying from 2.8km to a final 400m sprint. Stan finished all the stages in a combined time of 1 hour 48 minute 24 seconds with Andy also under 2 hours in 1:59:59.
