Ripon 10
Ripon Runners staged another successful race with their 10 mile event which takes in the surrounding countryside along with Studley Deer Park. Conditions proved to be dry and warm for the 384 competitors after some overnight rain.
The race was won by Harrogate Harrier Andrew Grant in 58 minutes 30 seconds, with Jo Waites taking the female title in 1 hour 10 minutes 25 seconds.
First for Ripon was Jim Berrieman in 1 hour 8 minutes 6 seconds for 17th place, followed by Douglas Scott (19th 1:08:30), Paul Walker (20th 1:08:33), Trevor Schofield (1:17:55), Richard Appleton (1:20:36), Jack Hernandez (1:34:02), Catherine Sutcliffe (1:36:08), Lindsey Fallow (1:36:20), Helen Cox (1:39:42) and Sarah Whittaker (1:44:01).
