Pennine 39

Colm O’Cofaigh continued his long distance ultra runs of 2016 by competing at the Pennine 39 Race, a 39 mile long mountain trail run that follows classic sections of The Pennine Way in the Cumbrian/Durham Pennines. Starting at Bowlees Visitor Centre in Middleton-in-Teesdale the route follows riverside trails before going past Cauldron’s Snout and then via High Cup Nick to Dufton and back to High Force. Good weather ensured Colm enjoyed fantastic views along the highest peaks of the route to finish in 8 hours 42 minutes.
