David Whitehouse proved that running shoes are not the only kind of shoes you can run in, as he wore full army boots and 35lbs of kit in his pack, to take part in the Para 10 mile event at Catterick. This off road event, racing against serving members of the armed forces and civilians alike, draws a large entry and David finished the 10 mile event in 2 hrs 17 mins.
