One Foot in the Gargrave

This LDWA event is a 22 mile challenge starting and finishing in Gargrave. The route takes in the views around Malhamdale, including Gordale Scar, and has around 2300 ft of ascent.
The weather was amazing: blue skies and warm weather with a good breeze made for good running conditions. Ripon Runners managed to bag 1st and second place, Paul Walker first with a time of 3.29 closely followed by Dave Binks 3.30. Other Ripon runner finishers were Alan Kyle, Ray Raper and Paul Morgan with a time of 4.16, Tony White 4.32, Sheena Jackson 5.19, Julia Morgan 5.19, Lisa Quin 5.20.
