Nidderdale 20
The Rotary Club of Harrogate held the Nidderdale 20m run on Sunday. Setting off from Ripley Castle and then following the river Nidd to Glass houses before heading back to Ripley via Smelthouses, Brimham Rocks and Shaw Mills. Simon Cave ran a strong race to finish in 2hr 39. Next back for Ripon were Dave Binks and Mike Hernandez fresh from their fell race on Saturday in 6th and 7th respectively in 3hr 12 and 3hr 13 closely followed by Michael Hall. Claire Baker was first lady in 3:26 along with George Allison, while James Stuart-Mills, Andy Purll and Sara Fleck all finished in 4 hours 28 mins. Also finishing were Wendy Marks and Anne Cheeseman.
