Muddy Boots 10k
The local Muddy Boots 10k on Sunday 7 February gave runners the usual mix of road and slippery off road conditions, with many Ripon members either competing or organising the race.
New member and teenager Ben Pease led a large Ripon contingent home, finishing 6th out of 423 runners in 37 minutes 34 seconds closely followed by Alex Fawcett (9th) in 38:37. Dave Binks and Douglas Scott managed top 20 positions with times of 40:34 and 41:24. First lady for Ripon was Suzanne Rickard in a stunning PB time of 49:01.
