Millennium Bridge 5k
Four members took part in the Millennium Bridge 5k last Tuesday night. First back for Ripon was new member Kim Brown in 27th place and 17:48. He overtook Dave Binks with about 20 metres to go, who was finally placed in 29th in 17:50, which was a PB. Oliver Lees finished in 73rd place in 20:21 despite very little running due to illness. Fiona Alder took part in the second race, her time was 25:39. The event attracted some very speedy runners, as the men’s record was broken in 14:35 and the ladies record was also broken in 16:24.
