Mersey Tunnel 10k
RR chair Simon McCudden achieved his ambition of having completed running events in both of Liverpool’s Mersey Road Tunnels on Sunday by competing at the Mersey Tunnel 10k. The route started in Liverpool and followed the Wallasey Queens Way Tunnel, Birkenhead Ferry Terminal and then along the promenade to New Brighton with great views of Liverpool Waterfront. There was 2,200 finishers and Simon managed a very steady 59 mins with his long standing running buddy Chris.
