Lightwater 10k
Lightwater Valley theme park was the starting venue for the Lightwater Valley 10k on Sunday 17th March. The race skirts around the park and gives runners views of rollercoasters on the way as well as a variety of surfaces underfoot. Anthony Jefford put in a strong performance to be first Ripon Runner home in fourth place taking 37.16 to complete the course. He was followed by Alex Fawcett in 39.00, Simon Merrin 39.58, Joe Lofthouse 42.58, Gary Wilks 43.27, Allan Hansen 43.34, David Cooney 45.49, Matthew Holt 45.50, Graham Haycock 46.47, Keith Hawkins 47.02, Ray Johnstone 47.46, Daniel Robinson 48.21, Peter Brodie 48.40, Andy Bishop 50.22, Vicky Clayton 52.16, Kim Holden 53.13, Juile Merrin 56.36, Lena Conlin 57.25, Sian Foster 59.03, Hilary Gilliam 63.04, Annette Stainthorpe 72.12.
