Leeds Half Marathon
Report by Katherine Richardson
The Leeds half marathon is the second race of the white rose treble, leading me up to the Yorkshire Marathon in October.
Having a few weeks off prior to today due to illness, I was apprehensive to race this one and contemplated cancelling it. However decided to look at it as training rather than a race, and focus on nutrition and pacing. Managed to knock a minute off my Sheffield half time, as well as feeling a lot stronger and actually enjoying the run!
With the run compromising of 2 hills, and the weather heating up again it made for a tough run but the crowds were fantastic and I managed to complete in 1:51:17.
