LDWA Rudolp's Romp
Four runners travelled east for the LDWA Rudolph’s Romp, a fairly flat (by LDWA standards) 23 mile long course offering competitors the chance for a fast finish time, which proved the case as the winning time was 2 hours 58 minutes. The race starts at Brantingham Village Hall and takes in the scenic Yorkshire wolds with a mix of woodland, hill and dale with sweeping views of the Vale of York and the River Humber. Paul Walker managed 15th place overall in 3 hours 30 mins closely followed by Dave Jelley 7 minutes later. Paul Morgan and Ray Raper also finished in 4 hours 13 minutes.
