James Herriot Trail Race
Club runners competed on Sunday 26 July at the James Herriot Trail race, a tough and undulating 14K run over moorland tracks and paths near Castle Bolton in Wensleydale in aid of Rotary charities.
The start is particularly hard with a steep uphill section, but Ray Johnstone managed to complete the course first for the club in 71 minutes 20 seconds. He was followed by Andrew Webster 76:22, James Stuart Mills 78:05, Simon McCudden 79:34, Kim Holden 84:46, Katherine Shaw 88:50 and Stan Appleton 89:23.
