High Cup Nick Fell Race
At the High Cup Nick Fell Race, Sally Houghton and Martin Gabriel competed against 270 other runners, many of them top runners from the nearby Lake District fell racing clubs. The 9 mile route with 1,500 feet of ascent rewards runners with stunning scenery and an exhilarating 3 mile descent. Sally finished in 1 hour 27 minutes and claimed 2nd in her age category, while Martin finished in 1 hour 31 minutes.
