Haverah Trail Race
The Haverah Trail race, run by neighbours Harrogate Harriers, saw Joe Lofthouse and Ray Johnstone enjoy great runs. A tricky race, taking in Pot Bank, Beavers Dyke and John O’Gaunts Reservoir, the 10 mile course, is a relative newcomer to the race diary.
Joe Lofthouse come in a strong 20th place in 1 hr 16 min and 25 sec, with Ray Johnstone in 1hr 28 min and 27 sec. Other Ripon runners include Caroline Bollon claiming first place in the female over 35 category in 1 hr 20 min and 54 sec with the duo of Jo Hope and Stuart Pender finishing in 1 hr 41 min and 15 sec.
