Harrogate 10K
Eighteen members took to the streets of Harrogate for its popular 10k road race on Sunday, and produced some great performances in a high quality field of runners. The overall race was won by Rory Stead of Aberdeen AAC in 32 minutes 33 seconds, but Simon Cave claimed a fantastic 17th position in 37:59. He was closely followed by team mates Dougie Scott (38:26) in 21st position, Jim Berriman (38:32) in 22nd and Joe Lofthouse (38:57) in 25th place.
First female for RR and 3rd female overall was Caroline Bollon in 39:01, while Kari Munro had another excellent run for 6th female in 42:38. Other finishers were:
