Hardmoors Roseberry
Sunday saw the last in the Hardmoors trail series for 2019 with the Roseberry routes. The weather was typical of Hardmoors events with winds predicted of up to 50mph and scattered rain showers both making it feel colder than it probably was, especially on the summit of Roseberry Topping. First back for the club over the 30 mile marathon was Kim Holden in a PB time of 7 hours 17 minutes, closely followed by Lena Conlin in 7 hours 50. Claire Baker was on the start line but pulled up after 12 miles.
First back for the club on the half route was Lucy Smith in a fabulous time of 3 hours 32 minutes followed by Donna Mitchell in 4 hours 4 minutes. Jo Thwaites, Koren, Tori and Christy also completed the half together in a great time of 4 hours 13 minutes. This route packed in nearly 3000 ft of climb with a distance of 15 miles.
Paul Brockett completed the 9 mile 10k route in 1hr 45min.
