Hardmoors Princess Events
The North Yorkshire coastline saw Ripon Runners involved in the Hardmoors Princess event, two seperate races of 17.5 miles and 31 miles. Encouraged to wear fancy dress including tiaras and crowns, Lucy Smith finished the 17.5 mile race as well as winning best dressed female! Claire Baker, returning triumphantly from injury, claimed the first lady prize, and 3rd overall in the longer distance, climbing 3,000 ft in the process, and finishing in 5 hrs 38 mins.
