Grim Up North 4 x 4 Marathon
Grim Up North race organisors held a marathon in the Swinsty / Fewston area, the course comprised of 4 loops to make up the 26.2 mile distance. Runners were also able to decide which day to compete on as the event was held on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday of this week. Choosing the Thursday option was Claire Baker and Lucy Smith, with Claire claiming first lady prize. On the Sunday, Lena Conlin made it back to back marathons having secured a course PB at Hardmoors Goathland the day before, by finishing Sundays event in 5 hours 2 minutes.
