Great North Run
Over the weekend the GNR took place on Tyneside. On the Saturday Beth Constantine completed the 5k run in 25 minutes 30 seconds for 2nd female place.
The following day, 14 members lined up with over 50,000 other runners for the worlds largest half marathon. Douglas Scott was the first of the group back in a time of 1 hour 30 minutes 37 seconds, with Richard Schofield (01:43:04), Jo Hope (01:59:01) and Robert Mundy (01:59:34) also going under 2 hours.
