Gormire Gamble Fell Race
On Sunday the Gormire Gamble Fell Race was held. The race covers 5.7 miles but in that there’s 1050ft of climb! Alex Fawcett reported that 160 runners were on the start line of a very muddy course. There were some very impressive performances from Ripon Runners: Simon Cave was 1st V40, Alex Fawcett 2nd V50 and Heather Glegg 2nd FV50. Ben Imeson and Darren Glegg also ran but no finish times have been provided.
