Fountains 10k
Ben Pease followed up on his Jolly Holly Jog success at Christmas by winning another local 10k race, this time the Fountains 10k, which is held in the village of Grantley just outside Ripon. Ben was almost 4 minutes ahead of second place Marc Ellis from Quakers Running Club, as he finished in 34 minutes 36 seconds. Simon Cave also had an excellent run for 6th place (39:44), while Dave Binks was back after a few months away with injury, with an impressive 43:38 finish. Michael Hernandez was only 5 seconds behind Dave (43:43) and Kari Munro was once again Ripon’s first lady in 45:15. Other results were:
