Folkestone 10k

In a complete departure from the hills of North Yorkshire, I ran the Folkestone 10km today which is an out and back course along the beach promenade from Folkestone through Sandgate and to Hythe and back again, which is as flat as a pancake with a nice sea breeze.
I ran with my husband who was doing his first ever 10km and we came home in 1hr13. I wore my Ripon Runners colours and got talking to a lady who was originally from Ripon! So a home from home.
A good little holiday jog and well marshalled and organised if anyone finds themselves on the south coast.
