Fellsman
The Fellsman, a gruelling 60 mile challenge around the peaks of the Yorkshire Dales, was held again on Saturday and saw runners battling through the often wet ground conditions. Pete Chapman, in a time of 14 hrs 32 minutes, claimed the Great Knoutberry Trophy for the fastest over 60 and Colm O’Cofaigh completed yet another ultra distance event in 18 hours 38 minutes. Tim Joynson also started but had to retire at the halfway point.
