Esk Valley fell series - Glaisdale Rigg
Sally Houghton and Martin Gabriel did the latest Esk Valley race on Sunday 21 Feb, the Glaisdale Rigg, a 8.5 mile horseshoe route on the North York moors with over 1,500 feet of ascent. The race starts with a long climb along one side of the valley with a sharp descent down into very muddy fields then back up the other side of the valley through woodland. A great course but tough. Martin did 1h25 and Sally achieved 1h21 for 6th lady and first in age category.
