Ella Wins Lee First for RR at Lightwater 10k
Other runners stayed much closer to home, as they ran the Lightwater Valley 10k just outside Ripon. Lee Stanley was first back for the club with a 4th place overall in 38 minutes 54 seconds, while Douglas Scott was only 2 places behind in 39 minutes 10 seconds and Ben Imeson was 12th in 40:36. Steve Silver was next in 44:44, followed by first Ripon female Chloe Dalton in 45:59.
Ripon’s junior section had much to celebrate when Ella Foster was first girl in the 3k race, while Shannon Robinson was 3rd girl and first in the Under 11 category.
