DT20
The popular three race DT series returned for its third year, with many Ripon Runners attending the first of the series, the DT20 in Reeth (20km / 13 miles). A real mix of weather made for challenging conditions, but Alex Fawcett was among the prizes as he was Ripon’s first runner back claiming 6th position overall and winning the V50 Category in a time of 1 hour 35 minutes 29 seconds. Paul Walker next in 17th place in 1:42:57. Gary Bastow also went under 2 hours for a 1:57:43 time, while Iain Wallace finished in 2:05:56 and Dave Allen (who stood in for Matthew Holt) completed his first race as a new member record a finish time of 2:10:42.
