Claire Wins Otley Ultra
Claire Baker was among the prizes on Saturday for the second time in eight days, this time winning the inaugural Punk Panther Ultra race in Otley. Following last week’s third place at the 34 mile Northumberland ultra, Claire was first lady and 14th overall on the new 31 mile course that included 4,200 feet of ascent. The route took in the countryside around Burly-in-Wharfedale, Yeadon and Guiseley before returning to finish at The Chevin, with Claire recording a time of 5 hours 53 minutes.
