Castle Howard Half Marathon

On Sunday I travelled to Castle Howard for the Half Marathon that was held as part of the Castle Triathalon series. It was the 10th running of the race and was a very pretty 2 lap route through the surrounding countryside and past the house. There were several different triathlons and a swim/run event happening at the same time so it was quite busy although fairly well organised and there were lots of supporters – which was very welcome after a rather hilly route on a hot day! I finished in 2:21:04, 9th in my age category.
