Brass Monkey Half Marathon
Lining up at the ever popular Brass Monkey half marathon in York with the thousands of runners were a number of Ripon members, and Joe Lofthouse proved to be the fastest of them all with a great run, recording a 1 hour 26 minutes 34 seconds, closely followed by Douglas Scott in 1.27.13.
Sarah Swinscoe ran her furthest ever distance, completing the 13.1 miles, and was delighted with her time of 2 hours 19 minutes, with husband Ian recording 1.51.04.
Matthew Harman finished in 1.47.22, Fred Clapham 1.48.04, Angie Benson 1.52.52 and Andrew Webster 2.01.34.
