BOFRA Hawkswick Dash
Martin Gabriel took part in another BOFRA race, this time the Hawkswick Dash in Littondale. On a very hot airless afternoon the 600ft ascent over 1.3 miles was hard work for all runners. Steep ascents scrambling up the fellside before a short run along the top and an even steeper descent. The soak in the river after was very welcome! Martin ran in at just under 18 minutes.
