BOFRA - Embsay
Report by Bastow
Just thought I’d pass the race onto you today at Embsay near Skipton. It was the 15th event of the British Open Fell Running Association championships. It was a 2.71mile 750 climb through the fields onto the cragg top and back.
120 runners took part and I came 39th and 1st v60. It didn’t go all my way as a v60 chap did beat me though he was not in the champs. Not that it bothered me as I needed to stay in front of the chap who pushed me all season and concentrated on him. It worked so proudly today – gathered six wins and two seconds to give me again proudly, the British v60 champ trophy.
