Bloodaxe Challenge - 12 February

Four Ripon Runners competed in the Bloodaxe Challenge on Sunday 12 Feb. This is a 2 hour challenge held on the York sports village cycle track.
Starting at 12 noon the idea is to complete as many laps of the 1 kilometre track as possible within the time limit. You could do as much or as little as you wanted to.
With 160 competitors and the first doing 29 laps, Ripon Runners were:
- Beth Constantine completed 22 laps in 2:0:26 for 25th place and 3rd female
- Ray Johnstone completed 22 laps in 2:2:26 for 26th place
- Helen Cox completed 12 laps in 1:11:58 for 119th place
- Paula Johnstone completed 12 laps in 1h/31m/30s for 122nd place
