Birmingham Marathon
Stan Appleton returned to the city of his birth for the Birmingham Marathon and achieved his target of a getting a ‘good for age qualifying time’ for London 2019 by finishing in 4hours 18minutes 1second. A great run from Stan, especially in warm muggy conditions on a course with some surprising short sharp hills.
