Austwick Amble
Martin Gabriel and Sally Houghton took part in the Austwick Amble. The 8 mile, 1200ft race takes runners up out of the village up towards Ingleborough before turning round a wonderful horseshoe across the limestone pavements. Wonderful weather and great village support as the annual cuckoo festival and street market was held on the same day. Sally was 4th lady and first in her age cat in 1 hour and 4 minutes and Martin feeling the effects of the efforts of last week did great to finish in 1hr 14 mins.
